At the start of my trailer i want my main character Hannah to be wearing bright clothes conveying that she is happy that she has moved into her new house, bright colours such as yellow which connotes happiness, and pink's to show a very girly approach to Hannah and also, orange's or green's as well maybe. And we will see close-ups on her face showing her happy and excited to be in her new home. Very natural make-up and neat hair making my actors looking very fresh and alive, will also add to this happy idea.
As the trailer commences i want the colours to gradually become very dull including the clothes with colours such as brown's and black's and then make-up will become very dull, pale unhealthy looking skin and also bag's under eyes to give an idea of distress. This will help the audience understand that not all is well anymore as the tormenting is taking place !
A baggy brown jumper suggesting that my protagonist has given up on bothering to try and look decent anymore as she is being haunted, and she is very stressed.
Black jogging bottoms to add to the effect that she has given up. Dull colours, black could possibly portray an idea of death? or danger?
The baggy eyes, and messy hair add to the idea of a very disturbed and distressed Lucy towards the end of the trailer.
